IHI Insight Conference is a collaboration between the University of British Columbia's and University of Toronto's IHI Open School chapters. 


Our goal is to unite students and professionals for an exploration of what matters most in healthcare assessment and quality improvement. Speakers and workshop events will delve into our expectations of healthcare, the disparities caused by our current systems and policies, and solutions that could solve the challenges people face today.

Call for Abstracts

As part of IHI Insight, we would love to highlight the research being conducted across Canada and invite you to submit your abstracts for inclusion in our conference package and to be showcased on our Chapter websites. We encourage submissions as it relates to quality improvement and patient safety. 

Submission guidelines

  • Please limit your abstract to 250 words

  • Include:

    • Background

    • Methods or QI intervention

    • Findings (preliminary are okay)

    • Research impact

The final deadline for submissions is May 15th, 2021.
